It’s been some time since the last post, but there has been a lot going on under the hood! In the next weeks boat plans for a new small boat “Tewantin” will be available on the website. To be followed very soon after that with template only plans for anyone interested in building the Proa. Also the plans are now well underway for a 40ft catamaran – an updated version of Tokyo Express and these should be available through the second half of this year. Plans to build Tokyo Express have been the most asked for query I have received.

DIY plywood boatPlans are soon to be released for “Tewantin” – a fast lightweight sporty boat that you can car top (with a big enough car). She is the same length, or a whisker shorter than  “Noosa” but quite a different boat.  33% wider in the beam. Taller sides with much more volume inside. The maximum motor size is also 3x greater than “Noosa” at 15-hp.  Go to its new page for more info on Tewantin.

Plans for Tewantin will be in PDF format – and available at 2 price levels. The complete package has all the details – materials lists, buoyancy calculations, building tips and tools recommendations and more. Or if you know how to build and just need the template drawing to accurately cut out the hull and bulkheads, so it all fits together perfectly then you only need purchase the template package. You pay only for what you need, its up to you.  Plans and pricing will be appearing on the website shortly. Existing boat plans for Noosa are also now also available at 2 price levels,  check out the new pricing.

It’s been quiet on the YouTube channel with no new video’s for some time now but a new small boat video is in the making and will be out shortly. Also in the making is a video on the importance of dagger boards for cat owners.

If you like these posts please share them!  That’s all for the moment.

I hope your month is going well.
